Who we are

An independent research site built in the Colombian Caribbean.

Allied Research Society Colombia S.A.S. was founded in 2022 in Barranquilla to give international sponsors a regulated, self-contained site in a region with high disease burden and limited research infrastructure.

Mission

To run clinical research to international standards in the Colombian Caribbean, giving our population access to investigational therapies and giving sponsors a site that executes.

Vision

To be the reference clinical research site of the Colombian Caribbean for sponsors, CROs and academic partners working on tropical, infectious and chronic disease.

Objectives

Lead clinical research in oncology, infectious disease and general medicine; guarantee the highest standards of patient safety and quality in line with SISPRO, SUPERSALUD and MINSALUD; invest in the continuous training of our team; and contribute to the community through research that transforms medicine.

The clinical research site: investigators, infrastructure, study execution.

  • Global Disease Research Foundation

The non-profit arm, focused on public health research and grant-funded work.

  • Associated IPS

The licensed health provider that anchors patient care and clinical operations.

Governance

Our own institutional ethics committee.

Protocol review does not depend on an external board. Our institutional ethics committee is an independent body, INVIMA-certified in 2024, and reviews clinical studies, observational studies and academic work — including brochures, amendments, university protocols and student theses. That in-house review shortens the path between site selection and first patient in.
