The Colombian Caribbean is an endemic setting for arboviral disease. Our team has published on dengue and Zika vaccines, congenital Zika, neutralizing antibodies and chronic chikungunya-associated arthritis, and works across HIV, tuberculosis and hepatitis.

    Good Clinical Practice certification granted by INVIMA in 2024 under Resolution 2378 of 2008, on top of an IPS licence issued by the Colombian Ministry of Health in 2022. Authorised to run Phase I, II, III and IV clinical studies.

    Eleven investigators across oncology, cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, hematology, rheumatology and infectious diseases, supported by coordinators and a research pharmacy.

Access to patients across the Colombian Caribbean.

Barranquilla has a population of 1,327,209, and 2,199,507 across its metropolitan area (Soledad, Malambo, Galapa and Puerto Colombia). Its proximity to Santa Marta (in Magdalena) and Cartagena (in Bolívar) — sharing the same tropical climate and disease profile — extends our recruitment reach across three departments through our own databases and institutional relationships.
